Reducing CO2 Emissions on North Sea Operations

01st July 2021

Recent North Sea Operations with the Ardyne TRIDENT System saw our client save 14.61 hours of rig time, when compared to conventional operations.

This reduced rig time not only provides HSE benefits of less BHA handling & time spent in the red zone, it enables a reduction in carbon emissions.

From the 14.61 hours saved, using Ardyne Technology, CO2 emissions were reduced by 25 tonnes. This is the equivalent of removing 36 fully loaded diesel trucks driving the 546 miles from Aberdeen to London.
